  1. COLLECTING YOUR PERSONAL DATA 

2.2 GIDI may collect your Personal Data during any activity you will make through our Platforms. The standard Personal Data you may have to provide in order to use our Platforms properly are as follows: name, contact details, delivery address, e-mail address, and birthday.

2.4 GIDI does not usually collect credit card details. Should there be any use of credit cards for the purchase of any items through our Platforms, all data attained will be stored directly by our third-party payment partners in compliance with their privacy policies. We may, however, collect your bank account details for any wireless refunds. 

2.5 Personal Data may also be collected in cases that do not require the consent of the Applicable Laws. 

2.6 GIDI requests that all Personal Data you provide are true. Avoid giving any false information as this may hinder you to fully use our services.

3.3 By withdrawing GIDI’s consent over the use of your Personal Data, the aforementioned Purposes, and Other Purposes will be stopped and you may not be able to fully attain the services and benefits from our Platforms and other outlets associated with GIDI.

4.1 Your Personal Data, in relation to our Purposes and Other Purposes, may be disclosed to: 

  1. Customer service representatives, admin staff, consultants at GIDI DISTRIBUTION CORPORATION;
  2. Partners who supply and deliver the products to GIDI, to be made for sale in the Platforms;
  3. Third-party payment processors; 
  4. Third-party courier services and/or logistics providers, which will conduct deliveries of items to customers; 
  5. Third-party service providers of services such as, but not limited to:

  1. ACCESSING OR CORRECTING YOUR PERSONAL DATA 

5.1 For accounts created in the Platforms, you may easily correct the following information: name, contact details, e-mail address, birthday, and shipping address. This is done by logging in to your account and simply editing accordingly. 

5.2 For Personal Data that cannot be edited in the Platforms, you may request to correct such details via e-mail (customercare@gidi-distribution.com), and our customer service representatives will assist you in the process. We may, however, need additional information to verify your identity before making the correction. Should our representatives do not accommodate your request for correction immediately, we welcome a follow-up from you via phone call or through any messaging applications that GIDI is using. 

5.3 Please note that we will send your correction to every third-party service provider, to which your Personal Data have been disclosed before the correction. 

 

  1. WITHDRAWAL OF CONSENT 

6.1 GIDI respects your rights and freedom to withdraw consent in accordance with the Applicable Laws. Kindly contact our customer service representatives so we can better assist you in removing your Personal Data in our Platforms or in any system affiliated or used by GIDI. Please understand that we may take time to remove all of your Personal Data in our Platforms, as well as in our third-party service providers, but rest assured that all of your Personal Data will be completely removed from our systems. 

6.2 Once GIDI removes your Personal Data, you will not be receiving notifications on discounts, promotions, and other announcements pertaining to our services and their benefits.

7.1 GIDI will ensure that all Personal Data disclosed to third-party service providers will remain true and complete. Should there be any changes in your Personal Data, please provide an update to our customer service representatives as we will not be responsible for providing false or incomplete Personal Data. 

7.2 Rest assured that in accordance with the Applicable Laws, your rights and freedom are respected. Therefore, we will apply reasonable security measures to make sure that your Personal Data is protected. Such measures will be placed to prevent problems (such as but not limited to unauthorized access; use; collection; disclosure; copying; modification; loss; leakage; and alteration of your Personal Data). However, any unauthorized use of your Personal Data by third-party service providers will not be the responsibility of GIDI as such authorization may be beyond our control.

  3. The Personal Data is removed by you.

  1. Requesting for your consent, unless there is an exception under the Applicable Laws or any other related laws;
  2. Implementing the appropriate data sharing agreement, unless there is an exception under the Applicable Laws;
  3. Taking the appropriate steps to ensure that the recipient overseas of the Personal Data is bound to comply with the standards of security that are somehow related to the Applicable Laws.
